This weekly tournament series features Singles Events for Melee and Smash Ultimate. Universal community rule sets are used for each.

Venue Fee: $5
Entry for Singles: $5
Entry for Doubles: $10 per team

Payout is 60/30/10 for all events, unless entrants exceeds 30, at which time we will pay out top 4 at 55/30/10/5. 3rd and 4th places will always receive at least $5, redistributed from the total prize pool.

Each event must have at least 6 entrants to run for singles, and 4 teams for doubles.

Registration for each event closes upon the beginning of the event.

Do not arrive before 5:30. You may be denied entry to the back if the TO is not present.

7:00 Melee Singles
10:00 Venue Closes

Please arrive by these times for your events, and allow a leniency of start times based on turnout and TO responsibilities. Events will rarely begin any greater than 15 minutes late of their scheduled time.

Prynne’s “Speedy Weekly Stipulation:”
You may enter as many events as you desire. At the TO’s discretion, if you are unable to play a match in one game for greater than 20 minutes, you will receive a loss.

Unsportsmanlike behavior (money matches on bracket setups, physical violence or aggression, etc.) will result in a disqualification for all parties, at the discretion of the TO. Repeat offenses will result in a ban.

REMEMBER to Bring Your Own Controller!

Setups for Smash Ultimate and Melee are essential for a smooth tournament experience. We have CRTs and Monitors, do not hesitate to bring a system.

This is an official Pokémon League Challenge by Adventure Games for the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Please pay the $5 venue fee at the counter, and then receive a Pokemon Booster of your choice. Every entrant will receive Promotional Play! Pokémon Cards while supplies last. Promo Cards are given out on a first come first serve basis.

RULES

Standard format.
Rounds are best of 3, 45 minutes, and done through age-modified swiss pairings.
We will be using the most recent Pokémon TCG 2018 rulebook.
You must use one deck for the entire tournament. Please turn in a deck list upon registration.

Prizes include 60% of the prize pool to the winner, 30% to the runner-up, and 10% to 3rd place. Top placing players will receive Championship Points, Promotional League Challenge Cards, and Play! Pokémon TCG Online Cards. Championship points will be awarded to top placers as noted on the Pokémon website:

REMEMBER:
Bring a completed deck list! Deck list sheets will be available when registering.

Please be sure to bring your Play! Pokémon ID! If you don’t have one currently, one can be assigned to you easily when registering. This tournament is an opportunity to earn special Play! Pokémon Points using these ID’s.
